IN THE ADIGE RIVER VALLEY
Cycle along part of Italy's second longest river, the Adige. Enjoy the springtime glory of the valley's famous apple orchards in full blossom. We park the bikes in Terlano and whoever wishes to can join us on a short trek (about 30 mins) up the "Margaretha Weg" path to Neuhaus Castle. Well worth the effort - the view is fantastic and the castle full of history. Then we return to our bikes and cycle along the riverside track, back to Bolzano.
